This is a beautiful, knotted strand of round, cultured Chinese Akoya pearls, quite similar in quality to Japanese Akoyas in this size range, yet they cost much less! The pearls measure 6-6.5mm in length, and are very light cream to pinkish-white in color with few blemishes and very good lustre.
