This beautiful, sterling silver cross features the fleur-de-lis emblem at each of the four points of the cross.
Fleur-de-lis means “lily flower” in French. The symbol, a stylized lily, is a symbol of French royalty or monarchy. The arms of a fleur-de-lis cross have liliform ends, which can also be viewed as spear-shaped, making this cross popular in French heraldry. For Christians, the three-petaled ends represent the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. In some traditions, the emblem also represents the Virgin Mary.
