Crafted from polished sterling silver, this beautiful Claddagh cross is fashioned with a highly defined Claddagh symbol. The horizontal cross bar features two, detailed hands and wrists clasping a heart. The vertical cross bar is fashioned with a decorative crown atop the heart; the lower part of the cross bar has a ridged motif and is adorned with a small cross at the base (not easily seen in our photograph, the small cross is on the small silver rectangle at the base of the cross). The Claddagh (sometimes spelled Claddaugh) symbol, two hands clasping a heart surmounting a crown, symbolizes love, friendship and loyalty. Measuring just under 1" in length, this intricate, silver Claddagh cross includes a 18" silver chain and is packaged in a lovely, blue velvet gift box.
