This lovely, sterling silver St. Agatha medal features a polished image of the Saint holding a fern in her right hand. The image is set against a matte-finished background; it's back is also matte-finished. Measures just under 3/4" and includes an 18" silver chain. St. Agatha of Palermo (in Sicily) lived during the reign of Emperor Decius. She became a virgin martyr for Christ in 251, and is known as an intercessor for women who suffer with breast cancer, and those who are victims of sexual abuse. Her Feastday is February 5.
