St. Michael Cross in Sterling Silver with Chain

Crafted from 925 sterling silver, this impressive, St. Michael cross is fashioned with woven, Celtic-design bars and features an image of the Archangel battling the Devil.  The cross reads "Saint Michael Pray For Us".  Measuring approximately 1-1/8" in length, it has a matte-finished, anti-tarnish coating, leaving a non-reflective finish.  Includes a 24" silver chain, or you may order a different length chain for an additional cost.  See this design also in our 14K Gold #5503. 

St. Michael is viewed in some Christian traditions as the patron saint of policemen, mariners and those who are in battle.  In the Orthodox Church, he is known as the Commander of the Heavenly hosts: "Supreme leader of God's armies and minister of the divine glory, prince of the Bodiless angels and guide of men, ask what is good for us and great mercy, as supreme Leader of the Bodiless hosts." (Orthodox hymn to St. Michael).
