This beautiful, sterling siilver Mezuzah pendant is fashioned with an impressive, open-work design from polished sterling silver. The pendant front is adorned with a Star of David. Measuring just under 1-1/2" in length, this lovely pendant includes an actual parchment and an 18" silver chain. The back of the pendant is slightly rounded. The Mezuzah (Hebrew for "doorpost") is often fixed to the doorpost of traditional Jewish homes. The first two paragraphs of the "Shema" (Deut. 6:4-9; 11:13-21) are inscribed on a parchment and inserted into the case. It is a reminder of God's presence and God's mitzvot (commandments)
