Crafted from 14K yellow gold, this round, St. Jude pin depicts the Saint holding a book (his New Testament Epistle) and a staff.  Rays of glory emanate from his halo.  The center is matte-finished; the border is high-polished gold and reads "St Jude Thaddeus Pray for Us".  Measures approximately 9/16" in diameter and is secured with your choice of a matching tie tack back or lapel back (not precious metal).  Packed in our custom velvet gift pouch or box. 

This saint was one of the 12 Apostles of Christ.  He is known to many as Jude Thaddeus, and is clearly distinguished from Judas Iscariot, the betrayer of Christ.  He is the author of an epistle to the Churches of the East, and is sometimes depicted with a book or a scroll representing his epistle.  In the Roman Catholic Church, he is the patron saint of desperate causes.  A martyr for Christ, his feast day is celebrated on October 28.
