This round, St. Michael medal is crafted from 14K gold and features the Archangel slaying Satan. Image is polished against a matte-finished background. The polished outer border reads "Pray for us". Available in either yellow or white, and in five different diameters: 12, 15, 18, 22 and 25mm. Choose color from selection boxes above; the price shown is for yellow (18mm and 22mm white versions are an additional amount). 29mm medal is available in yellow only. St. Michael is viewed in some traditions as the patron saint of policemen, mariners and those who are in battle. In the Orthodox Church, he is known as the Commander of the Heavenly hosts: "O ye foremost of the Heavenly hosts: Deliver us from oppression, since ye are the princes of dominions on high." (a hymn to the archangels).
