Crafted entirely in 14K gold, this oval St. Christopher medal depicts the Saint with his staff, carrying a child through water. It's center is matte-finished; the border is polished and reads "Protect Us". Back is also polished. St. Christopher (3rd century) is known by many as the protector of travelers. Some traditions say that he was a man of great strength whose livelihood was carrying people across a raging river - he is said to have carried the child Christ on one day. A martyr for Christ, his feast day is celebrated on May 9.
