Large St. Christopher Medals in 14K Yellow or White Gold #8173

Available in two sizes, this hollow, oval St. Christopher medal is fashioned from 14K gold and depicts the Saint with his staff, carrying a child, representative of Christ, through water.  The 23.5mm size shows the child with a halo, and our 28.75mm version features Him also giving a blessing.  Can be purchased in either yellow or white; choose color from selection boxes above (price shown for 28.75mm version is for yellow; white is an additional amount).  It's center is matte-finished; the border is polished and reads "Protect Us". 

St. Christopher (3rd century) is known by many as the protector of travelers.  Some traditions say that he was a man of great strength whose livelihood was carrying people across a raging river - he is said to have carried the child Christ across one day.  A martyr for Christ, his feast day is celebrated on May 9.
