Round St. Joseph Medals in Sterling Silver with Chain #8186

St. Joseph (also known as St. Joseph the Betrothed and St. Joseph of Nazareth) was advanced in years when he was called to be the Betrothed and protector of the Virgin.  In submitting to the fulfillment of the prophets' foresayings, and in his obedience to God, he is an example of putting the sacred above his own desires.  In some traditions, he is patron saint of carpenters and workers.  His feast day is celebrated on March 19 in the Catholic Church and on Dec. 31 in the Orthodox Church.
