The San Damiano Franciscan sterling silver crucifix is modeled after the one that Saint Francis of Assisi prayed before. The crucifix is die struck using only the finest grade sterling silver which enables the intricate details to fully show when the antique finish from hand polishing is applied. Hand engraving is then applied to the medal followed by a layer of protective lacquer to help prevent tarnishing.
