This beautiful and inspirational polished Sterling Silver medal is available in 3 Sizes. The medal is packed in Blue Velvet Gift Box. In this sterling silver medal, Michael the Archangel is shown trampling Satan. The border reads "Saint Michael the Archangel Defend Us in the Battle." Available in three sizes: 21, 28 and 35mm; The 35mm and 28mm sizes include a 24" rhodium plated curb chain. The 21mm size includes an 18" rhodium plated curb chain. Sterling silver chains are available; choose from selection box above.  St. Michael is viewed in some traditions as the patron saint of policemen, members of the military, and those who are in battle.  Michael is sometimes shown in icons as standing on a horizontal body and with his left arm held high, holding a small image of a child. The body represents a human being at the time of his death and the image of the child represents the soul of the deceased. This icon represents the belief that the Archangel Michael takes the souls of the dead with the Guardian Angel.
