St. Christopher Medal Ring in Sterling Silver and 14K Yellow Gold

Fashioned from polished sterling silver, this medallion ring features a recessed medal of St. Christopher in matte-finished 14K yellow gold as it's center.  The saint is depicted with his staff, carrying a child through water.  The border reads "Saint Christopher Protect Us".  This engravable ring measures approximately 9/16" width at it's top.  Packed in our velvet gift box.  Add optional engraving to this order.

St. Christopher (3rd century) is known by many as the protector of travelers.  Some traditions say that he was a man of great strength whose livelihood was carrying people across a raging river - he is said to have carried the child Christ across one day.  A martyr for Christ, his feast day is celebrated on May 9.
