This beautiful Sacred Heart of Jesus Scapular medal is finely crafted in solid Sterling Silver. The medal has the following inscription around the edge, "Learn of me I am the way the truth and the life." This inscription combines two verses from the New Testament. In the Gospel of Matthew Jesus says, "Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:29. The other verse is from the Gospel of John where Jesus says, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me," John 14:6.
